Pictures to the south were supported by the following observations:

Still lots of fast food debris as we approached

A foul oder was in the air

Same 2 automobile tires that I always see

Foliage is getting greener and fuller
-
More water is flowing north with a dark brown color
-
Plastic trash along shorelines is visible all around.

Lots of seagulls out.

Lots and lots of plastic bottles (water/soda) as well as other trash along the banks. Larger items include:

large styrofoam float. see close up pictures from the 23rd

Pictures to the south were supported by the following observations:
-
several plastic 5-gallon buckets
-
2 ducks swimming in the water
-
8 automobile tires (at least)
-
lots of trash that include the following:
-
plastic bottles (water/soda). More than the south side
-
there is less trash build up in the the 2nd picture of the group and more starting to build around the tress and brush adjacent to the shoreline in the 3rd and 4th images.

Plastic waste covers the natural shoreline.
-
Plastic trash shorelines in all surrounding areas. It still looks like trees are growing out from the plastic waste.
